Marian welcomed back three of the program's all-time greats on Friday Night’s game— Marian vs. Saint Joe. The jersey retirement ceremony took place at halftime for former basketball stars Demetrius Jackson, Jaden Ivey, and Devin Cannady— recognizing their outstanding contributions to the school and their successful careers. All three former Knights went on to play in the NBA.
Our Elevate Halloween Costume Party was a fun, family-filled celebration with athletes, parents, and friends in creative costumes. On April 13,2024, Marian High School inducted Demetrius Jackson and 12 other former students athletes as earliest as class of ‘71, into their athletic hall of fame. Demetrius was the youngest of the 13 inductees class of ‘13.
Former Notre Dame Point guard, Lindsay Allen, joins Demetrius Jackson for a two day workout leading up to WNBA training camp. Lindsay and Demetrius were both point guards for the Irish, class of 2017. Lindsay, who most recently signed with the Chicago Sky of the WNBA, has 6 years of professional experience with the New York Liberty, Las Vegas Aces, Indiana Fever, and Minnesota Lynx.
Elevating Minds and Hoops! Our Back to School Giveaway with Elevate with Eleven and the Detroit Pistons was a slam dunk of success! Partnering with the talented Jaden Ivey and the Pistons, we equipped future stars with backpacks, school supplies, and basketballs, ensuring they're ready to shine on and off the court.
